Snow Day 2006

Bella is moved into her new house out on the front lawn.

Today we are getting a huge snowstorm in our state. We have received approximately ten inches of snow since yesterday night. Much of southern WI is closed - including all local schools and Trek. I woke up early this morning and drove to work for a few hours to coordinate things there. The girls stayed home with the daddy.

Bella and I just came in from such a fun adventure outside. The snow is still really coming down, so we had to bundle up warm. We shoveled for awhile and then built a snow house. I haven't felt so young and happy in a very long time. Snow like this, when everyone is home safe, is just plain fun. Bella crawled in and out of her snow house and we made a bench on the outside that was comfy. I even scooched my upper body into the snow house and enjoyed the quiet and warmth inside.

Maybe later today Iris will get to go outside. She's finally awake from her nap now! Have to run.
