Future Fire Fighters

Last Sunday Bella and her friend Charlie visited our town fire station. The fire station is new and the volunteer fire fighters held an open house. Bella and Charlie had a grand time talking to the fire fighters, eating cookies, and especially climbing into all of the different fire engines and looking at the other equipment. Now Bella understands who the town alarm is calling when it sounds. Her favorite truck at the fire station was the "huge one". She also liked the ice rescue hovercraft. One of the fire fighters let Bella and Charlie look at all the equipment in the ambulance. Charlie wants to be a fire fighter when he grows up and so does Bella's mommy. Of the 38 volunteer fire fighters in town, only 2 of them are women. Our neighbor, Dave, is one of the volunteers. Bella thinks he is pretty cool.

Bella has been helping me write this and she says "that's it!". So, that's it!
